Part:BBa_J58104
Fusion protein Trg-EnvZ for signal transduction
This part implements a synthetic two-component signal transduction pathway. We created a chimeric coding region part for a protein in which Trg (chemoreceptor) contributed its periplasmic and transmembrane domains (as well as a short cytoplasmic segment) and EnvZ (osmosensor) contributed its cytoplasmic kinase/phosphatase domain.
